As of 8pm GMT the UK sim-free Nexus 4 has begun to receive it’s Over The Air upgrade.
You will recieve a warning if your upgrade is due but if you wish to manually check you are welcome to follow this risk free procedure:
- Click Settings

The download is 169.3 mb so you may want to make sure you’re on wi-fi if your data plan does not allow for this, otherwise fill ya boots!

Apparently it’s Wifi only till 30 July.
Got mine via ‘mi-fi’ which is technically a phone dongle with a sim card…
Downloaded it. Got an error. Now it’s stuck at X. Thanks a bunch Google.
Happened to me too. Just hold down all three buttons to reset the phone.
hey if you are facing this error issue while downloading the apps from playstore then try this link below

I faced the same issue, but this link helped me fix it !
Got my update for my nexus 7 and galaxy nexus tonight around 8
I got mine Saturday 27th on both Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 7 at the same time
Don’t forget to activate Dial pad auto complete in phone settings, its pretty neat and possibly the most useful part of the update. Apparently fstrim has been added which clears unused memory blocks speeding up older Nexus 7’s so that’s good too 😉
The only useful part!
“I try not to be negative, I really do. Sometimes its a challenge…”
Im in the UK and I still haven’t got it
One thing that 4.3 brings to Nexus devices is Trim. This means if you have an older device that you have added / deleted a lot of media files on, and now find that it is getting a little sluggish, lletting Trim run a few times could speed that bad boy up.

Try my method and get the 4.3 OTA now.. Nexus 4, 7, 10 and Galaxy Nexus
