Last Sunday I was merrily flicking around the channels when I spotted that, yet again, Top Gear was on. It's been on pretty much every Sunday night since the last series ended but they've been repeats or "best of" programmes.
But.. last week, it was the start of an all-new series. Personally I'd not seen any promo stuff about the new series, which was quite surprising. It's still perhaps the best TV show on the planet, with The Stig being revealed as Michael Schumacher (not really) and a crazy race involving a steam train. This is brilliant TV. Sure, Fifth Gear is getting better and better with possibly more varying content per show, but Top Gear is worth the licence fee alone. Brilliant.
