The long-awaited Mio 8380 made a fantastic debut yesterday in Taipei. MiTAC spokesperson Justine Liu said, “We are targeting heavy PC users, they will find the Mio easy to use since it is using a Microsoft operating system – a familiar user interface.”
The MiTac would carry a price tag of NT$16,800 and would be available in Taiwan in mid-July. It is powered by Microsoft Windows Smartphone 2002 and Intel’s Xscale CPU.
