Oh dear. It appears that my earlier guess was correct. Not only are Sendo pi**ed off at MS / Orange for releasing the Orange SPV (HTC Canary), which apparently infringes on the Sendo PCB design, but now – after checking the virtually identical SPV E100 / Smart Amazing Phone (HTC Tanager), they think that this is ALSO breaching copyright.
This could be very bad news for any network choosing to release the phone and Hugh Brogan, boss of Sendo, says that Microsoft is continuing to infringe its patent.
It is too early to say whether Sendo are going to include the Tanager in litigation, but it is safe to say that this is not good news for Microsofts first Smartphones.
