Firstly it was noticed by Pocket PC in the microsoft.public.smartphone newsgroup and now msmobiles.com have picked up on it too. Yes it appears that there may be a bit of a security worry in the AT&T model of the Motorola MPx200 Smartphone.
It relates to the fact that unsigned-apps can run on this device and switch threads to Kernel mode (using SetKMode(TRUE)), allowing apps to access all privileged API’s.
