MTekk, an Australian website, reports on a possible OS update for the Samsung i600 Smartphone.
They take a snippet from the microsoft.public.smartphone newsgroup. Douglas Genetten writes…
“I just spoke to a very well-informed technical manager at the Samsung booth at CES 2004.
He said the i600 update to 2K3 is “already done, approved and back in
Microsoft and Verizon’s hands”
He says the big issue is who will handle the upgrade, how it will be done and if it will cost.”
Althought the Samsung i600 isn’t available widely here in Europe, this is good news for those countries where it is.
