MSMobiles report today on the showing of a innovative new way of finding info and purchasing stuff with your Smartphone. Juha Christansen, Senior Vice-President, Mobile & Embedded Devices Division, showed off an E200 taking a picture of a barcode and then displaying information directly from Amazon ON that book.
Neat trick huh ? Well yes – even better for Amazon, because you can be walking round your local high-street book store taking pictures of books, then buying them cheaper at Amazon ! 🙂 We covered a similar story to this some months ago, and it would be very interesting to see something like this go into practice.
