Nokia, who don’t do any Windows Mobile-based handsets, face fresh problems. Nokia themselves are now warning that their own earnings would fall further in 2004 as rivals attack its core business. This will send their stock down 17 per cent. This is Nokia’s third warning in as many months. So far $9.89bn has been wiped from its market value.
Nokia have been struggling quite a bit recently, and only recently began offering “clamshell” handsets. Something which Nokia used to ridicule constantly.
