We’ve already seen the Sagem MyS-7, but now it’s due to appear under the MiTAC brand as the MiTAC Mio 8870. No info on a release date or anything, but it’s good news all the same.
MiTAC have a major problem.. they just don’t put Bluetooth in their handsets. M I T A C !!!! Are you listening ?! INCLUDE BLUETOOTH IN YOUR PHONES !!!
All thie following info comes from www.nieuwemobiel.nl – the biggest Dutch and Belgian mobile phone comparing site. Recently they visited the iTrendz fair in Utrecht. The Netherlands. Mitac were there and they presented the new Mio 8870 Smartphone. It’s exactly the same as Sagem MY-S7, but with a cooler black design and most important: it has Windows Mobile 2003 SE with Windows Media Player 10! They were impressed by its speed and comfortable joystick.

According to NieweMobiel.nl this handset will be available this month or next month and will come with several games installed. There tried several games on it – no GAPI probles at all !
