MSMobiles have news on this press release from T-Mobile about the T-Mobile SDA II and T-Mobile SDA II Music. Things are moving quickly for the Windows Smartphone by the looks of it – the T-Mobile SDA (1?) has only just arrived here in the UK. These new devices should be appearing around July this year according to T-Mobile HQ, so we’ll keep you posted on developments.
The new devices will hopefully be using the next version of Windows Mobile (2005) and come with QVGA displays (262,000 colours) at 240×320 pixels. This particular specification is similar to the Samsung i300 we mentioned yesterday and the SPV C550 and it indeed looks like the T-Mobile SDA II Music and the Orange SPV C550 will be almost identical handsets. The SDA II will come with 64 MB ROM, 32 MB RAM, which you can increase with miniSD cards.
Mega-pixel cameras, hi-res screens and more handsets mean that the future certainly is looking bright for Windows Mobile.

Image right is from this PPCW.net story where you can also get piccies of the SDA II. The SDA II Music appears to have only a few very slight cosmetic alterations from the existing SDA Music handset such as solid buttons instead of clear ones etc.
UPDATE – Get tonnes of real pictures here at PPCW.net. It’s interesting to note that the specs card next to this device shows it as being 176×220 pixels.
