Think Halfords and you’ll probably get images of car accessories and lots of well-tested bikes (oh, that reminds me of my ex-girlfriend). However, MSMobileNews.com have spotted Medion Smartphone With GPS Navigation System.
The handset is a little costly at £399.99 – which is a lot even with the GPS software and hardware – however you do get a 2.2″ TFT LCD display with over 262,000 colour, 32Mb of internal memory, a 256Mb SD card (with the software on), polyphonic ringtones, WAP, MMS, SMS, email, MP3/WMA playback, voice recording and a digital camera. You also get a windscreen mounting bracket, the external GPS receiver and a 12 volt DC power adaptor that connects to your cigarette lighter socket. There’s a mains power pack and a USB cable, plus a back up of the navigation software.
This handset is the same as the Mitac manufactured Sagem My S-7.
