A week ago the Orange SPV M3100 appeared as “coming soon” on the Orange website. Then, just five days later it became available to buy. Strangely Orange have now announced the launch of this handset on their website. The press release, which can be read below, states..

The SPV M3100 launch is to be a phased launch across most of Orange’s European networks with Switzerland and the UK getting the device this month, France and Romania following in September and Slovakia and Spain sometime during Q4 2006.

Powered by Microsoft® Windows Mobile® 5.0, the SPV M3100 supports Orange’s push email solution, Orange Mail, as well as Direct Push functionality available with the Microsoft Messaging and Security Feature Pack (MSFP), which provides users with immediate access to Outlook® information on the move. Users can also access everyday business applications like Word Mobile, Excel® Mobile and calendar functions, making the SPVM3100 the ultimate solution for business travellers.
