Samsung i600 at IFA

MSMobiles have news from the IFA entertainment show. This is the Samsung i600, yes i600. It’s got 3G (HSPDA), EDGE, GPRS and runs Windows Mobile 5.0 for Smartphone with WiFi and a front facing camera.


Wait a minute… Haven’t we seen this before? Well, yes.. almost. You may remember the Samsung Blackjack we spotted in at the MoDaCo event in London a couple of months ago. This i600 has a slightly different keyboard and keypad arrangement plus this appears to have a podcast downloader and RSS reader.


The i600 is full QWERTY messaging handset and also has a 1.3 megapixel camera at the back for pictures. It’s got bluetooth, MicroSD slot, scroll-wheel, 128Mb ROM, 64Mb RAM and a proprietry connector on the side. According to sources this will be available during the 4th quarter of this year.
