If you’ve recently won the lottery or split from a very rich pop star then you could be in the market for a $300,000 (£161,000) Smartphone. Engadget now have some real shots of the Black Diamond Smartphone which runs Windows Mobile 5.0 with an Intel 400MHz CPU, WiFi, quad-band GSM and it’s all ready for full VoIP with SIP. It’s also got (are you ready for this?) a 2Gb SD card, diamond, polycarbonate and a 4 megapixel camera. Ker-CHING!
There won’t be many of these made so, to be honest, this is the nearest most of us will get to this futuristic-looking Smartphone. Interestingly it comes from VoIP fanatics VIPN who also make other Windows Mobile devices with great potential.
