Orange have launched a new campaign called “Mod Your Mobile”. It’s fronted by Holly Willoughby (hubba hubba hubba) and is a reaction to the way young people today are adapting and personalising their mobile phones, unsurprisingly this trend started in Japan and has become increasingly popular over here in recent months.
You can enter into an online competition merely by sending an image of your own personalised (or “modded”) phone to have it rated by others in a “hot or not” style. Later this month a panel of judges, including Holly (hubba hubba hubba), will pick a winner and this lucky person will win the once in a lifetime experience to see their phone design transformed into a real limited edition handset! In addition, Holly (hubba hubba hubba) will also be designing her own bespoke handset to hopefully give some inspiration to the entrants.
What we’d like to see here at CoolSmartPhone.com is some “pimped” Windows Mobile devices on their page. Surely there must be someone out there who’s tweaked their phone ? Oh.. and let’s not forget about Holly too.. surely she’s reason enough to enter eh?! 🙂 (Hubba!)
