Looking for some sat-nav software for your Windows Mobile Pocket PC? The AA have just launched AA Navigator 2007 for £79.99 (UK & ROI) or £99.99 for the whole of Europe. The AA tell me that “AA Navigator has been designed for motorists, not for gadget enthusiasts. The focus is on simplicity and ease-of-use”, and they’ll even chuck a Bluetooth receiver in for £39.99 if you need one.
There’s a new look to AA Navigator 2007 with features such as “Easy Mode” to allow navigation to postcodes, towns or POIs in three simple steps. For the more demanding user you can have route maps, favourites and a demo mode. There’s real-time spoken directions with road numbers and names in a choice of male or female voices and 2D or 3D maps. Installation is easy – just install from the supplied memory card.
Check your device is compatible before you install (they could do with updating this list).
