Yet more eye candy for your Monday morning, this time in the form of the HTC P6500 Sirius and HTC S420 Erato flip phone. Both phones have, like the S730, appeared on PDAdb.net recently with specs.
The HTC 6500 (Sirius) on the left comes with Windows Mobile 6 Pro (Pocket PC) running on a 400Mhz Samsung CPU with WiFi, quad-band EDGE, Bluetooth 2.0 and a whacking 256Mb ROM / 64Mb RAM. An August release date is mentioned.
The HTC S420 “Erato” is more of a classic Smartphone and is the apparent successor to the HTC StrTrk we started seeing around a year ago. Again, like the P6500 and the s730, there’s the Samsung 400MHz CPU. It’ll run the Windows Mobile 6 Standard OS and you can see from the product names (“P” for Pocket PC / Windows Mobile Pro and “S” for Smartphone / Windows Mobile Standard) that this is a definite Smartphone. The new flipper will bring quad-band UMTS (3G) and HSDPA connectivity plus in-built GPS, 2 megapixel camera, FM radio and MicroSD. There’s an April release date according to rumours.
