Possible Windows Mobile Palm approaching?

OK, standby for some interesting information. Palm have put this website online to prepare people for a “new Palm smartphone” coming 12th September. The images on the site seem to suggest a European version of the Palm Centro (Treo 800p), which runs a Palm OS. However…



.. anyone remember this story we did ? That blurry shot of a Vodafone-branded Windows Mobile Treo (800w) is also roughly the same size, although a tad wider. It’s the usual mix of rumours and guess-work at the moment, but we’re obviously hoping for the Windows Mobile version to appear. Let us know if you’ve heard anything about this.
