Continuing with our look at the HP handsets we find the HP iPaq 600 Series. Following the 100, 200 and 300 series this is the first to include a radio stack, so you can actually make calls on a GSM network 🙂 There’s to be two versions – one without a camera (610) and one with a camera (610c).
Running Windows Mobile 6 Pro it’s powered by a Marvell PXA270 CPU running at 520 MHz and gets 802.11b/g connectivity plus Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR. When you’re on a phone network you get tri-band HSDPA 3.6/7.2 with quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE plus there’s that smart touch-wheel navigation system to play with that we mentioned earlier. As usual you can expect the Microsoft Mobile Office suite and 256Mb ROM / 128Mb RAM to use along with a microSD expansion slot for more space.
