It was released some time back, but we never managed to get hold of one. The HTC Advantage always felt like “the one that got away”. It’s taken some time, but we finally managed to hunt one down.
The device comes in two flavours, the Windows Mobile 5-powered HTC Advantage X7500 and the Windows Mobile 6-powered X7501. We’ve now completed our review of the X7500 version and you’ll find the usual stack of close-up pictures, videos and screenshots here.
The HTC Advantage is also sold as the T-Mobile Ameo and packs GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, HSPDA+3G, video calling, TV-Out, 8Gb hard-drive, 3 megapixel camera and the new VueFLO technology. It also has a fast 624Mhz CPU, miniSD card slot and a detachable keyboard. We’ve tested the lot.
