My current phone is the HTC Touch Dual from Orange. Yesterday I bumped into someone else who has one and they posed a very interesting question..
“It’ll unlock when I open the slider, but when I close the slider it won’t lock automatically. How do you change that?”
The answer, it seemed, involved some faffing around with the registry. As default the Touch Dual does not lock the keypad or drop the call when you slide it shut. Luckily xda-developers.com have build a CAB file, so it’s just a matter of copying it across to your phone and then executing it. Once done your Touch Dual will lock automatically AND drop the call when you slide it shut. There’s also a version of this to drop the call but KEEP the keys unlocked – you can get that here. Remember to actually run the program after you’ve installed it, even if it doesn’t “look” to have done anything. If you want everything back as it was, uninstall the app and reboot.
