Speereo have just released a new version of their Voice Translator software. It comes complete with bug fixes and support for all the latest Windows Mobile handsets. It’s a powerful yet easy-to-use program which will speak phrases for you and supports 16 languages – English, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, Italian, Finnish, Russian, Turkish, formal Arabic, Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, Korean, and Japanese. Version 4 has added Polish and Danish into the mix.
The software has around 4000 phrases for situations you could face. There’s business, technical, medical and legal terms, phrases, idioms and some slang. There’s also an online flight timetable, flight status and weather forecast plus a converter for length, weight and temperature conversion to name just a few. There’s even a shoe sizes converter!
