The HTC-built Dream handset sporting the Google Android OS is set to be launched on the 23rd in New York. Word on the street is that sales will begin on October 20th with two colours to choose from – black, or white. T-Mobile will be carrying it and we’re hearing that the OS is performing fantastically well, although the device itself may feel a little “plasticy”.
If you squint hard enough you can see the black variant in this YouTube video from the Google Developers Day, yesterday. Sure, it’s not Windows Mobile, but it’s made by HTC and it shows just how quickly the competition are moving on.
Read on to see the vid, oh, and if you’re in London on Thursday evening and fancy helping us cover the Xperia X1 launch, give me an email on [email protected]
