Here it is, the HTC S740. First impressions? It’s narrow, it’s fast and the screen is vivid and clear. The S740 also appears to be called the “HTC Rose” in the settings screens and the firmware includes the HTC Album along with an RSS and PDF reader. Thankfully there’s also a rather sexy HTC homescreen which you can see in action below. There’s also lots of screenshots of the various tabs available with more coming shortly.
I’ll have a video blog online later this evening with more pictures. There’ll also be some testing of the FM radio, WiFi, GPS and the camera along with a full tour of the unit.

Here’s a quick look at the HTC homescreen interface. I’m not sure what it’s called but it glides and bounces about beautifully…
I’ve recorded the interface in action, however there is a bit of “jumpiness” because of the frame-rate. It’s very smooth in reality..
