Pink Project? Verizon? Zune Phone? Bagh!!

There’s already a considerable amount of buzz on the t’interwebs about the Microsoft and Verizon project to introduce a touch-screen multimedia phone to challenge the iPhone. The “Pink” project has already been mentioned but the details surrounding it have been wooly at best.


We’ve learned from Microsoft that no, Microsoft is not going to make a phone themselves. They are also not building a Zune phone. They are working more closely with their hardware partners (HTC, Samsung etc) to create phones which perform even better and are more competitively priced and have the features people want.
