The Omnia 2 (i8000) should be appearing this weekend in Singapore. The Windows Mobile 6.1 handset has already caught our eye in t’interweb videos and WinMo 6.5 should be available for the phone shortly after launch.

“Although the mobile phone had been originally slated for an October launch, it seems that the company decided to make fans happy a little earlier, and the handset will come to the market in Singapore as soon as this weekend.”
The handset packs a 5 megapixel cam, 3.7″ AMOLED WVGA screen, WiFi and the new TouchWiz 2.0 GUI.
