It’s safe to say we love our phones. But, following Ofcom research, it’s not just us. 862 people were questioned and 41% said they would rather cut out home improvements and holidays than their mobile phone. A massive 47% save rather pay for their mobile than enjoy a meal at a restaurant or spend money going to the pub.
The figures, announced today, also state that newspapers, clothing, music and books would be ditched in favour of a mobile phone. It seems that keeping connected to your phone and broadband is a lot more important to people than enjoying a holiday or buying new shoes.
