We’ve all seen Google Maps. It’s great, sure, but there’s many people who’d prefer full OS Mapping. A new Android app simply called “OS Map” will show full Ordnance Survery maps on your phone with fast GPS positioning, smooth panning and custom waypoints. There’s no subscription fees to pay and all OS Map scales are available and there’s a moving compass overlaid onto the screen.
The app is available to buy for just £4.99 through the Android Market or you can click here for more info. Oh, and the developer is actually an airline pilot, so he knows his navigation!
