The HTC Lancaster. What happened then?

We’ve had a few mails asking about the Android-powered HTC Lancaster so we thought we’d answer them here. The Lancaster is a sliding-QWERTY device from HTC and, last we heard, it was going to launch on AT&T in August. Earlier rumours suggested that this device had been delayed or possibly even shelved after not passing AT&T tests.


Altought this is becoming old news now, plus we still don’t have the “official word”, it’s pretty definite that the phone has been completely ditched and won’t be appearing on AT&T or anywhere else. I’m guessing that this won’t faze HTC though.
