The Boy Genius has managed to get his hands on the Motorola CLIQ – soon to be coming to our shores as the Motorola DEXT. It’s an Android-powered device with a 4-row sliding QWERTY and 5-way directional pad. The CLIQ has a 3.1″ capacitive display, 5 megapixel auto-focus cam, 3G / WiFi, aGPS and a 3.5mm audio port.
The preview concludes that …
“We feel that the Motorola CLIQ’s appeal will be to the young teen market. Yet compared to something along the lines of HTC’s offerings, we don’t think many people are going to spring for a clunky Android handset regardless of price.”
There seems to be a little slowness with the software and it seems a little disjointed according to the article, but this is a preview model so we’ll sit on the fence for now.
