Merry Christmas and a Happy 2010!

It’s Christmas Eve and there’s snow falling across the land. It’s been quite a big year for coolsmartphone.com. We’ve added a totally new look-and-feel to the site, overhauled the entire navigation, added Android news and a seperate iPhone news site.


I personally want to thank each and every one of you for visiting, re-tweeting, posting in the forum and emailing. I know I say this every year but this is a site built completely by you lot from the tips and messages we receive, so I’d like to say a big thank-you.


Just a short while ago we were asking for your cash too – this will be going towards memory and an additional server as our database and web load increases. As part of the donation-drive we were offering up some prizes from the coolsmartphone cupboard to anyone donating more £5. James Ward, Tom Ranson and Brian Storey will be receiving a 1-year MSDN Premium Subscription whilst the Windows 7 Ultimate DVD goes to Mr A Chaplin. Lim Phoon has won the crazy earphones 🙂


Have a very Merry Christmas and a fantastic New Year. From what we’ve seen in 2009 from both Microsoft and Android we’re certain that 2010 will be a pivotal year for both operating systems, and we’ll be there all the way.
