So, the excellent HTC HD2 seemed to get a little extra after the boat-ride to the USA. However, the extra RAM has opened up a whole can of worms. It appears that it’s not just a new spec, it’s actually the very same handset for the most part, and the RAM just needs to be unlocked.
How do you unlock it? Well, a new radio version / ROM will do it, and the guys at xda-developers are just the people to deliver it. From what we’re hearing from you lot it gives a significant performance boost, so how come this wasn’t done in the first place?
