We’ve had a good play around with new Android and Windows Mobile devices this week. The HTC Desire and Sony Ericsson X10 mini pro impressed us greatly. The X10 mini pro is a very compact Android 1.6 phone and it’ll really appeal to the wider market. It has a defined QWERTY with 5 megapixel auto-focus camera, stereo Bluetooth, FM radio, aGPS, 3.5mm audio port, WiFi and a 2.55″ 240×320 QVGA screen. Mark our words, this will do well.
The HTC Desire is another stand-out device, packing the speedy 1Ghz chip, 1400 mAh battery, 5 megapixel auto-focus camera with flash and geo-tagging, WiFi, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 2.1 and a whole lot more. This is another one that really impressed me.
However. I want you to remember this date. I’m going to state right here, right now, that the HTC Legend is going to be an immensely popular handset. Building on the award-winning Hero, this device wins you over the very minute you pick it up. The sleek brushed metallic unibody is strong yet sleek and the new HTC Sense interface adds some stunning new features. The bright AMOLED, as you can see in this pic from HTC_ru, is easily viewable in daylight and I just couldn’t put it down. Mark my words, the HTC Legend is going to be massive.
