Something is happening on Twitter. The #tmdp tag is being mentioned more and more with Tweets now coming from San Francisco – the location for the April 12th announcement. This particular Tweet references the recent glut of big product announcements from the likes of Apple and suggests that whatever Microsoft has, it’ll be better. It’s pretty certain now that the announcement on Monday will be about those Pink phones and there’s already a lot of guessing about what “tmdp” stands for. Some say “T-Mobile Danger Phone” or “The Microsoft Danger Phone” with others suggesting “Truly, Madly, Deeply, Pink” – apparently a reference to a favourite movie within the Pink team.
Either way, Pink is on the way and we’ll find out more after the weekend.
