Apple are suing HTC, you knew that already, but just in the last hour we’re learning that HTC is to counter sue Apple. They want to stop the import of the iPhone, iPad and iPod in the USA.
HTC say that Apple have infringed five of their patents, but currently we don’t quite know what they are. The official HTC release we’ve received doesn’t go into too much detail, but you can read the official statement below. HTC have been making lots of noise recently about their heritage and their innovation.
Update – Some more chunks of info are coming through via gizmodo. It looks like the five patents relate to predictive dialing, power management and some other bits. Hey, why can’t all these mobile companies put aside their differences and just work things out for the greater good eh ? 😉
