It looks like there’s a little more life in Windows Mobile 6.5 yet. Samsung have announced a couple of new Windows Mobile devices in the shape of the the Omnia Pro 4 and the Omnia Pro 5. Both are QWERTY messaging devices and are probably an attempt to fill the corporate gap that’s rapidly being filled with Blackberry devices. They look a little errm.. meh.
So, moving onto the specs rapidly and sadly, things don’t get much better. The Omnia Pro 4 on the left here has quad-band GSM and HSDPA, a 3.2 megapixel camera, 2.62″ 320×320 screen (yes, I know), FM radio, aGPS, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, WiFi, microSD expansion and a 1500 mAh battery.
The Omnia Pro 5 has quad-band GSM and tri-band 3G / HSDPA with a 2.4″ 320×240 screen, 2 megapixel camera, FM radio, aGPS, microSD and 1500mAh battery.

Update – Some great up-close shots from MobilityMinded are available – check out the keyboard – very much like a BlackBerry 9700. We don’t like those on-screen WinMo 6.5 “bubble buttons” though.
