A Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 update is available and, whilst it’s not the 2.1 update that users crave, it will improve performance and speed up the X10. There’s an added boost for messaging tasks and the camera interface, plus Sony Ericsson have added a free backup and restore function so you won’t lose your data.
You should notice a message in your notification bar when this update is available, so watch out for it. Otherwise you can browse to www.sonyericsson.com/update and follow the instructions.
