Well, just last night pictures of the T-Mobile G2 were splashed across the interwebs. Now there’s more of the phone and the rather trick system for bringing out the QWERTY keyboard. It doesn’t actually slide (as we previously thought), instead it lifts off and then back down above the keyboard in a deckchair-style operation.
This is an Android handset that will appear here in Europe soon enough as the HTC Desire Z and has been kicking around our news items as the HTC Vision for some time. The device has a 3.7″ screen, GPS, WiFi and 3G / HSDPA. Being an Android device you can also expect proximity sensors and compass too.
We should also mention that leaked details of the phones have now been removed from the mobiles.co.uk website. Whooops…
