A raft of internet tablets, based on Android, look set to arrive at the IFA trade fair later this week. ZDNet are already reporting on a 10″ unit from Hannspree with a 1024×600 16:9 screen and a 1GHz Tegra 2 NVIDIA processor and 16GB of built in storage. It’ll sell for £399 and runs on Android 2.2 (Froyo).
Meanwhile Archos have unveiled five new Android 2.2 tablet devices. The Archos 101, with 1GHz CPU, 10″ 1024×600 screen, HDMI port, WiFi and VGA camera, is listed, as is the 7″ version with the same CPU and 800×480 screen. Archos also have a 4.3″, 3.2 and 2.8″ versions too.
