User “clubtech” on xda developers has posted a way to make most apps scale properly on the galaxy tab. As the galaxy tab has a resolution of 1024×600 a few apps are not scaling properly. Engadget and some gameloft games are examples of this.
The fix is to install “spare parts” from the android and enable compatibility mode. This then enables apps to scale properly to the full screen size.
