For those of you prepared to gamble, a new experimental ROM has appeared on XDA-developers.com. It’s Android 2.3 (aka Gingerbread) and it’s designed for (wait for it) .. a HTC HD2.
Yes, the normally-Windows-Mobile-powered device becomes one of the first devices to get a rather unoffical port of the new Android device. Currently everything is running a little slow and there’s a lot of kinks to iron out, but it does make you a little warm inside.
