The FlexiSkin from for Orange SPV C500 / Audiovox SMT 5600 is designed to
stop your phone looking dented and scratched while preserving its
"coolness". The problem with many cases for such a tiny phone is that they
tend to hide the syle of the phone and prevent you from using the phone
properly. I’m sure we’re all familiar with the annoying moment when you rip
a cover from your phone, unable to press a button properly or make a call to the right number.
So, the FlexiSkin.. does it tick all the boxes? Can a phone be usable and
protected all at the same time ? Let’s see….
Out of the packet I have to be honest, it looks unfortunately like some sort of cheap condom. Hey, I’m not going to beat Looks are different to "feel" though. It is a tad stretchy although Putting this onto the phone involves slipping the handset through

I don’t write "puffy" reviews. If something is crap, I’ll
say it’s crap. I have to be honest and say that I hate covers for phones.
However – this thing isn’t a normal cover. I can only describe
it as a gell-like glove. I can press every button perfectly, I can even
press "5", which is smack in the middle of lots of other buttons, without
getting an "8" or a "2" or a "3" etc… It feels like I could throw the
phone around too – the cover is bouncy and durable, plus it fits the phone
incredibly well. A snug fitting cover which keeps the "look" of your phone
whilst protecting it from the daily dust, grime and possible dents and
scratches. Brilliant. This is one cover that I’ll be keeping on my C500, and
probably on any future phone too!
The FlexiSkin cover is available not just for the Orange SPV C500, but for a
whole raft of Pocket PC Phones and Smartphones – even MP3 players.

The FlexiSkin I tested cost $23.95 (£13.04) at the time of writing and is
