The Krussell case is a very
nice leather protector for your HTC Tanager based Smartphone (like the one
pictured). Krussell are a
very well-respected case-manufacturer and have won several awards for their
cases and carrying systems. So – what’s a "carrying system" I hear you cry ?
Well it means that it uses the
Mulitdapt system – which allows several clips, straps and holders to be put
onto the back of the case – allowing you to put your phone almost anywhere. A
shot of this from the manual can be seen below. There’s clips available for
pockets, beltholders, a car holder, bikeholder, a wrist and neckstrap and a
security strap. The case comes with the belt-clip as default.
Here’s the belt clip to the rear – very sturdy, very easy to snap on and start
using.
The case itself is handmade in genuine leather – you can not only smell the
leather, but there’s also a helpful tag telling you too ! 🙂 On the front is a
see-thru plastic with two carefully made holes which allow access to the
joystick and earpiece. These are EXACTLY in the correct position and the
joystick hole is especially welcome – it is cut around the diameter of the
joystick base, so there is plenty of room to tilt the joystick around.
On the sides is the leather outer, which is well stitched and each hole has
additional stitching to prevent tears etc. If we look on the left-side of the
phone we can see that there is an aperture for each button, plus one for the SD
/ MMC Card slot. All very well positioned. You can see the zip on the left – the
phone itself slides in from the top of the case, then it’s a matter of zipping
it closed.
Here’s a quick shot of me using it – you can see the well-placed
hole for the IR port.
This case is a quality product and Krusell have taken the time and effort to
ensure that it’s made well. The case is soft and smooth inside, so your phone
will be well cared for. When you get the case you’ll see a QC sticker which
shows the Quality Control procedures in action too. The case fits snugly against
the phone, so there’s no huge buldge and there’s no movement inside the case
once the phone is fitted.
