The Laybag is a tiny bean bag for your phone to rest on. It comes with a small “lip” to stop your phone slipping down and is useful as a temporary phone holder or a way to hold your phone at a viewable angle. It’s ideal for watching movies anywhere, and sits on any surface.
It’s a machine washable bean-bag with small plastic pellets inside. Pop your phone (or portable media player, PSP or whatever) on the bag and just mash it around to angle your phone. This is ideal for popping in your car, coat, handbag or pocket and also acts as a stress-reliever if you want 🙂
We’ve done a video review of the Laybag Leipzig. You can watch it here..
For watching videos, catching up with TV shows or watching movies it’s ideal and it’ll sit quite happily on any surface – be it your leg, your car seat, your dashboard or your laptop bag on the train home. You can stick it in your glove-box, pocket or at the bottom of a bag. It’s also something to throw at colleagues 😉
There’s a range of colours, patterns and types. Here in the UK you can get them from mytrendyphone.com or you can check laybag.de for other countries and retailers.
They cost around £13.75 and are very well made. For phones that charge at the top (like the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 shown here) you can also use these as a make-do desktop-cradle. Overall, not a bad idea.
