Today there has been an update released to the android market of the popular app “Shootme”. It is a screenshot app for android devices that have been rooted. What sets this one apart are some of the settings. For instance it will take screenshots if you shake the device, shout at it or cover the light sensor. It can also take continuous screenshots in a screencast mode. So you could take mini instructional videos using this app.
Below are some screenshots of the app in action. Plus a video of the screencast mode.
Is there a way to take screen shots on non-rooted phones?
There sure is. You need to have the android sdk installed. This sets you computer up for developing. I will post a link later.
