This is the LG Slate, aka G-Slate. Inside is the all-new Android Honeycomb OS which has been specifically designed by Google for tablet devices. Specs include an NVIDIA / Tegra 2 dual-core processor, 1280×768 (WXGA) 8.9″ screen display with 1080p full HD video playback. Other details include a 5 megapixel camera, Adobe Flash, 32GB of internal memory, G-sensors and a whacking 6400mAh battery.
This should be appearing at Mobile World Congress very soon. It’ll be arriving in the USA in March so we’ll be on site in Barcelona asking when it’s heading to Europe. 🙂

Cheers Gears. Great piece of news and all that (I LOVE the look of this thing!), but now I’ve got that cheese sick song stuck in my head.
Hehe. Sorry 🙂
How can a screen with horizontal resolution of 768 have full 1080p video playback?
