3 have disclosed in a tweet that they will be bringing Android 2.3 to their customers who have an HTC Desire. 
Things have been a little quiet in terms of existing HTC devices getting the latest Android OS, but its good to hear that they aren’t forgetting their existing customers.
Good to see 3 being first to announce this – although no time scales at present.

What about stock HTC Desires?
We would assume unlocked devices would get the update first – it’s only ever happened that way in the past – but no word from HTC on when yet.
That would affect 3 customers too – my Desire and Desire HD from 3 were both unlocked.
Surely you’d expect the Desire HD & Desire Z to be confirmed first?

Well although there is no time-frame it is still something to look forward to for my HTC Desire.
