Right, stick with me on this one. Earlier in the week the Motorola Xoom appeared on PC World for £449.99. All was well until, after disappearing for a few days, it re-appeared £499.99. Now there’s 10% off on all “computing hardware” products over £299. The 10% reduces the price back down to… £450 (if our calculator is right).
Use the “HARDWARE10” code at the checkout and, blam.. it’s back down to the first price we mentioned.
Update – OK, even though we’ve clicked “Range available” link from the “10% off” offer and found the Motorola Xoom, when you actually put the HARDWARE10 code in it says, “Not applicable”. Grrrr.. Fail fail fail PC World people! See below…
We’re currently asking PC World why this is and will let you know more…

The promo code doesn’t work for the Xoom. Apparently not computing hardware :/
Thanks Tim, we’re looking into this now and I’ve updated the story

I used it yesterday no problem. In fact if you use quidco you also get another 3% cash back…..
Wish I’d tried yesterday, just tried again and I get error: ###error_promocode_not_applicable###
Pity as i’m refusing to pay more than £450 for the Xoom.
