Some of you may have noticed a new magnifying glass icon appearing next to your search results over the last few days. Clicking on these icons launches a new Instant Previews feature which Google has just introduced.
They provide a great way for visually searching through sites when the text results don’t provide you enough information. They’re also useful when you already know what the web page that you’re after looks like. Performance is also very snappy so you don’t end up waiting an age for the previews to load.
I tested it on Android and iOS but there’s no reason why WP7 users shouldn’t be able to use it either.

Actually I tried it, and it seems not to be working in germany. I used a HTC HD7.
The Internet Explorere uses the mobile versions of google.
My Touch and HTC Desire also use google mobile. I’ve no idea why it doesn’t work. Possibly something to do with poor HTML5 support in IE?
