That I haven’t dug around for more detailed information, I guess we’ll just have to wait for the review units to get a feel for how this stands up against Android and iOS.
Personally I’d love to give it a try, my only concern would be the lack of apps compared to Android and iOS, again, time will tell, who knows what HP have planned.
The hardware still needs to be improved.
Are they finally getting it? If the original Pre had launched Sim-free at that price (without the UK 6 month delay) I would have bought it day one! Why couldn’t they have had this sense 2 years ago!?
It’s a little late for me but this is still promising.
Very interested in this operating system, I’ve only heard good things. There is the feeling of HP joining the party a little bit late now though, mid-2011?
I used the different Pre’s when I was at the Gadget Show this year, and they were excellent. The clever technology that HP have brought to the Pre includes if you had the HP tablet with Web OS on it and you were looking at a website on your Pre mobile. Just lay it on top of the Tablet and the same webpage, will appear on the tablet. This is a standard feature across all the Pre devices as far as I can tell (they have a small Pre with small touchscreen and small qwerty keyboard)
I was impressed with how innovative the Pre was. It felt fresh and clever. Nice devices.
don’t believe that price, that would be cheaper than the pre 2 is now, i would buy it i need to go back to a qwerty keyboard
Had the Pre, LOVED WebOS but the device was hobbled by a 6 hour battery life, yes you read that right, 6 hours which rendered it completely useless for me.
If this turns out to have a decent battery life I will definately consider it when my contract is due for renewel.
